Founders journey.
AirSmile was founded by long-standing dental professionals on a mission to change the way patients manage every aspect of their dental care – moving the world’s population towards better oral and general health.
Meet Dr Heath Fraser and practice manager Rebecca VanZutphen, the creators of AirSmile. The duo began working together in 2011 when Heath opened a dental practice on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Then a single practitioner practice with a part-time hygienist, now in 2021 a seven surgery facility with a team of over twenty.
Concerned and frustrated by many facets within the dental industry, the two decided it was time to pioneer change in the way we as dental professionals communicate with patients, and how the public controls and manages their oral health.
Thus began the development of a new digital dental platform. One that would aim to remove barriers of confusion and fear of the unknown for the 2 million Australians avoiding dental care each year, whilst supporting dentists eager to attract patients perfectly suited to their vision, team and expertise.
